Coaches Profile
My name is JR Diaz, I moved to Portland in 2015. I am a native of California. I played at Lewis-Clark State College for the legendary coach Ed Cheff. Our team won back-to-back World Series titles in 1999 and 2000. Since coming to Portland, I have coached baseball and fastpitch softball for numerous organizations in some capacity, I have over 25 years coaching experience.
I've played and trained with MLB players and D1 coaches. I love teaching and I specialize in catching, fielding and hitting.
We have two fastpitch teams a: 16U team profiled here and we are starting a 18U team this fall (2023).
